I love to make green salads, we eat them very frequently in our household.  I grew up eating them with dinner almost every night so making up different combinations just seems easy and normal to me.  But I realize not everyone thinks they’re easy so enjoy the ones we’ve come to love…

Mixed Green Salad

  • Half mixed greens half romaine lettuce
  • Celery
  • Bosc Pear
  • Dried Cranberries
  • Blue Cheese
  • Candied Pecans or Walnuts
  • Salad Dressing:
  • 4 TBLS balsamic vinegar
  • 2 TBLS olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar (or natural sweetener)
  • 1 clove garlic or 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Preparation & Directions

Rinse and spin dry your lettuce.  Chop the celery and pear and add to the lettuce, along with cranberries, blue cheese and nuts. Drizzle on the dressing.  Enjoy!
