Danika's Notes
This is a fabulous alternative to ice cream, healthy and yummy…and you AND you’re kids will love it!
Ingredients
- 2-3 bananas (frozen)
- 1/4 C hemp milk (or other milk alternative)
- ice (optional)
- dash of vanilla extract (optional)
- handful of dairy free chocolate chips
- handful of walnuts, chopped
Preparation & Directions
Take 2-3 bananas, just as they are ready to eat, peel them, wrap them in saran wrap and pop them in the freezer for at least two hours (you don’t want to use really ripe bananas because they continue to ripen in the freezer). Sometimes my bananas are frozen for longer and it still works fine. Put them in your Vitamix, or other high powered blender, add your milk, vanilla and ice and blend. Scoop into bowls and top with chocolate chips and chopped walnuts. Delicious!
