Homemade Wrapping Paper

Owen Making Wrapping PaperIt was Noah’s birthday a few days ago and as I was trying to think of something crafty to do for the day, I came across this idea on kiddley...making homemade wrapping paper that Owen and I could use for Noah’s gifts. Owen gets so excited anytime food coloring is involved.

Here’s what you need:
rice paper (tissue paper works if you don’t have rice)
food coloring
bowls to mix individual food color
dropper for each color

Owen had a great time, watching the colors blend and fade into each other. It’s always more fun when kids get to actually see a lesson played out, making green from yellow and blue!  We dried it in the garage over night and it turned out great, a bit of a tie died look, but personal and Noah loved it!

You are such an awesome mom.  I wouldn’t want anyone else raising my grandson.  I have seen you grow and change so miraculously that it has increased my faith in the loving God we serve.  Mike and I are sooooo proud of you and we can’t say it enough.  I hope you know that.
Love
